Gourmet Lodge 10008 Meeting 26/03/2025

We are delighted to invite you to the 7th Regular Meeting of the Lodge, to be held at The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s historic Moor Hall in Cookham. This distinguished venue, originally built in 1805 by London merchant William Skinner, began as a farmhouse overlooking the moor before being transformed into a Victorian stately home, retaining many of its elegant architectural features.
Throughout its rich history, Moor Hall has served various purposes—providing refuge for evacuees during World War II, later operating as film studios for Odeon Cinemas in the 1940s and 1950s, and now standing as the prestigious home of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Nestled in the picturesque village of Cookham, a place of inspiration for renowned writers and artists, including Sir Stanley Spencer, Kenneth Grahame, Roald Dahl, and Enid Blyton, Moor Hall offers a setting that seamlessly blends historical grandeur with modern sophistication.
Our meeting will commence at 18:00 hrs on Wednesday, 26th March 2025, set within this distinguished environment. Following the formal proceedings, we will dine in the Edinburgh Room, an elegant space known for its refined atmosphere, where guests will enjoy a memorable culinary experience in a setting befitting the occasion.
For your convenience, ample complimentary parking is available on-site.
We look forward to welcoming you to this esteemed venue, where tradition, fellowship, and a distinguished setting will come together to create an evening of significance and camaraderie. This fine dining experience will be at a cost of £85 (including non-refundable £1.50 booking fee).
